How it works

Each link gets utm_source (facebook, instagram, tiktok, youtube), utm_medium=social and your utm_campaign. Everything happens in your browser — nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Questions and answers
What is a UTM tag?
A few words added to the end of a link — utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign — that your website analytics reads to tell you where a visitor came from. The page itself is unchanged.
Do tags change where the link goes?
No. The link opens the same page; the tags are only read by your analytics.
Should I use a different link for each network?
Yes. That is the point: a separate tagged link per network lets you compare which one sends the most visitors and sales.
